Course Description
This course introduces Adult Education and ESL students with an interest in the Hospitality and Culinary fields to careers and programs at CLC. Using contextualized instruction in reading, writing, and math, students develop useful strategies to become successful HCM students. Study skills, time management, vocabulary, and basic principles of the food industry are introduced and covered.Prerequisite: ICCB approved Pre-test score in the NRS 4 High Intermediate level.
