 The Commercial Refrigeration Technician Certificate program prepares students for employment as commercial refrigeration trainee. This certificate places a strong emphasis on the commercial refrigeration industry and emphasizes hands-on service and installation techniques, soldering and brazing, safety, and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Students learn to work with refrigerants, gauges, and electrical test equipment in a commercial setting. Students will learn commercial refrigeration concepts in the classroom and apply them hands-on in lab.

Note: Tools will be provided for students to perform lab work.
