Joint Agreements in Illinois
Joint educational agreements between the College of Lake County and other institutions in Illinois allow residents of District 532 to enroll in degree and certificate programs at other institutions at an in-district rate. Through joint educational agreements, residents have increased access to career and educational pathways not available at the College of Lake County. Residents will pay the in-district tuition rate for the receiving institution.
Students interested in a CLC program that is not offered by their home district may be eligible for in-district tuition. Authorization forms are obtained at the home district college.
Students living in CLC’s district who are interested in a program not offered by CLC may be eligible for in-district tuition while attending a participating college. Joint Agreement with Other Institutions
The College of Lake County has a joint agreement with Gateway Technical College to provide eligible students with the advantage of in-district tuition. All CLC programs listed in the agreement are currently in place and approved by the Board of Trustees, the Illinois Community College Board and the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Below is the list of programs for the Joint Agreement between the College of Lake County and Gateway Technical College for the period from August 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028

No residents of the state of the "receiving institution" may be displaced from the "receiving institution" due to this Agreement.
