Degree: Associate in Applied Science
Plan 24AN

The Automotive Collision Repair program offers an Associate in Applied Science degree and five certificates. These programs will provide students with the entry-level skills needed to enter the collision repair industry. The certificates allow students to specialize in one or more areas of collision repair and prepare students for employment in the automotive body repair and painting industry. The courses use the I-Car curriculum and students have the opportunity to earn I-Car course credit. The program is certified in all four areas by NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Educations Foundation, Inc.). This is the highest level of certification that NATEF awards. NATEF was founded in 1983 as an independent, non- profit organization with a single mission: to evaluate technician training programs against standards developed by the auto- motive industry and recommend qualifying programs for certification (accreditation) by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

ACR Course require basic hand tools and personal safety equipment.

To complete an A.A.S., students are strongly encouraged to meet with an Academic Success Advisor to identify coursework that will meet degree requirements.
