This capstone course builds on advanced refinishing theory and skill development with an emphasis on color matching, blending, custom finishes, and production-quality refinishing practices. Instruction focuses on analyzing repair plans, selecting appropriate materials and equipment, and applying advanced spray techniques including blending, tinting, and multi-stage refinishing systems. Students develop skills in diagnosing and correcting refinishing defects through procedures such as de-nibbing, color sanding, and polishing.
