Trauma Informed Educator

This course is an overview of the types of traumas that young children experience and how it affects overall learning both in and out of the classroom. Emphasis will be given to supporting educators in creating safe learning environments, developing strong relationships with children that have experienced trauma, partnering with families and school communities in trauma-informed care, and secondary trauma as it relates to educators.
