Course Description
This course will provide students with training on basic and advanced measuring tools and techniques commonly found in manufacturing environments. This course teaches the care and use of metrology tools such as optical comparators, toolmakers microscope, surface gages and various pins and gages utilizing advanced measurement techniques including the programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing techniques.
