Course Description
This course is designed to exceed the requirements outlined by the Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) by providing students with the knowledge and skills such as The organization of local government, enabling regulatory legislation and the law-making process a the local, state- provincial, and federal levels; and the functions of other bureaus, divisions, agencies and organizations and their roles and responsibilities that relate to the fire service as required to perform as a Advanced Fire Officer (Company Fire Officer ll) as defined by NFPA 1021.
