Firefighter Basic Operations Certificate (Plan 25FD)

The FBO program is housed within the Business & Social Sciences Division. While all students may participate in the application process, acceptance into the program is competitive, with enrollment limited to a maximum of 20 students. Final approval is granted by the Dean based on each student's successful completion of the application requirements.

After obtaining an FBO application packet and submitting it by the declared deadline, students must successfully complete all phases of the screening process. These phases include a panel interview, a background and criminal history investigation, the CPAT (Candidate Physical Ability Test), and an NFPA-compliant medical physical.
