Catalog Description
This certificate provides students with the foundational skills needed for entry into the Industrial Technology field as Mechanical Maintenance Technologists. In this certificate of study, students learn to install, maintain, and repair factory equipment, industrial machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, electrical circuits, and mechanical equipment used in manufacturing industries. Students also learn how to maintain facilities/buildings and take a welding skills course.
This certificate is the starting point for a series of certificates that build up to the Industrial Technology Specialist Associate in Applied Science degree. |
