Introduction to Gender Studies
Course Description
This course provides an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of gender studies. The course will introduce students to key concepts, theoretical perspectives and analytical tools developed by social scientists and scholars in diverse fields of study. It will explore the varied perspectives of gender and gender issues, including the biological, psychological, sociological, and anthropological approaches Also included is a discussion of the philosophical, political, historical, educational, and economic perspectives.
