Teaching Pronunciation to Multilingual Learners (MLs)
Course Description
This course will introduce students to the basic concepts in articulatory phonetics, including the physiology of articulation, phonetic characterization of individual speech sounds, stress at the word and sentence level, intonation patterns, rhythm and blending. Students will apply this knowledge in examining and developing methods and techniques used to teach pronunciation to Multilingual Learners (MLs).
