Develop skills relating to Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) - also known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding - to join metal using heat and electricity. Develop fundamental fabrication skills, industrial math skills and how to read blueprints used in metal fabrication and welding. The certificate courses ladder into a degree program.

Once the program has been completed, students should be able to:

Identify GTAW equipment

Safely setup GTAW equipment as it pertains to industry standards

Execute various weldments with the GTAW process
