The Electrical Troubleshooting Technician Certificate program prepares students to specialize in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting for employment as HVAC trainees. This certificate emphasizes the development of strong foundational and applied electrical skills specific to HVAC systems.

Coursework focuses on reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, performing systematic electrical troubleshooting, following proper electrical service and safety procedures, and working industry-standard electrical test equipment. Students gain hands-on experience using electrical meters and diagnostic tools commonly used on HVAC equipment.
