Program Overview
Catalog Description
Sustainable agriculture is an emerging specialty field that is growing quickly as we seek to find economically viable ways to maintain farm land and sustainable ways to support local food production. Students will take a variety of hands-on courses in such topics as permaculture, extended season production, and seasonal fruit and vegetable production. Graduates will be prepared for work as skilled farm laborers and managers, or to operate a community garden.
