Catalog Description
This degree has a concentration on studio art. Students will take various art classes to develop skills in a variety of art mediums.
Once the program has been completed, students should be able to:
Be experienced with a variety of art tools and techniques used to create artwork.
Understand process and workflow of a variety of art mediums to create a developed work of art.
Assess and critique art projects and communicate the assessment effectively using media specific vocabulary.
Be proficient at creating unified designs and compositions using the elements and principles of design. elements and principles of design.
Develop concepts in their artwork and connect the concepts to the choice of subject matter, visual imagery created, and use of the media.
