Course Description
This course will examine the development of the modern world, focusing on cross-cultural exchange between the various regions, since 1500. Themes studied will include the influence of religion, culture and conquest on the Americas, Asia, Africa, Oceania and the Middle East as well as the increasing conflicts between peoples and regions of the world.
