Surgical Pharmacology
Course Description
Discusses basics of pharmacology & measurement. Focuses on medications that are used frequently in surgery with detailed discussion of handling and preparing medications at the surgical field. Presents the process of delivering anesthesia with specific attention to medications used by anesthesia providers. Adverse, idiosyncratic and side effects of various medications are discussed with emphasis on the importance of safety measures.
