Course Description
This course will provide fundamental knowledge for nonsurgical periodontal and maintenance therapies related to periodontal diseases and conditions. Fundamental concepts relating to risk factors, immunity, and etiology of periodontal diseases will be included. General surgical concepts, treatment planning, and best practices for clinical assessment will be emphasized.
