This course introduces students to jazz dance techniques and styles. No prior dance experience is needed. Students will learn basic skills, terminology, and performance expressiveness in jazz dance. An overview of the history of jazz dance is including in the course. This course is repeatable one time for a maximum of six hours that may be applied to the associates degree.
