Course Description

This course is for those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of planet Earth by learning material and applying it in lab activities. No previous geology or earth science knowledge is necessary. Exploring the workings of our planet will include topics such as Earth's history, geologic materials (minerals and rocks), surface environments and processes (coastlines, glaciers and ice ages, the hydrosphere, deserts), and large-scale processes (plate tectonics, earthquakes, mountain building, climate change).
