Course Description
In this course, students will explore the strict formatting and story elements of the screenplay. Students will write, revise, and produce fully developed screenplay excerpts, and will analyze professional works by a wide range of writers. Students will demonstrate and employ the various elements of craft such as structure, conflict, dialogue, and imagery. Journals, a midterm, and a final exam may also be required.
